Benjamin Logan’s baseball team scored early and held off visiting Jonathan Alder for a 4-0 win Friday in Central Buckeye Conference crossover action.
The Raiders run their record to 16-1 overall and lead the Mad River division at 9-1. The Pioneers fall to 8-7, 5-5.
Ben Logan came out swinging in the first inning to grab a 3-0 lead. The Raiders later added a run in the sixth inning to take a 4-0 advantage and held the Pioneers off the rest of the way.
Kade Arn recorded the win on the mound and piled up 10 strikeouts. At the plate, he went 2-3 with a double and two RBI.
Also for the Raiders, Brady Burrey and Trey Allen both went 2-3, while Carter Rees and Nolan Roose each added an RBI.
Ben Logan travels to Kenton today.

Lakers take down Arrows
Indian Lake’s baseball team scored six runs off just two hits to down host Tecumseh 6-2 on Friday in a Central Buckeye Conference crossover game.
The Lakers jump their record to 11-5 overall and 6-4 in the league, while the Arrows fall to 8-7, 4-6.
Indian Lake scored two runs in the first inning and one in the third inning for a 3-0 lead. Tecumseh plated a run in the fourth inning, but the Lakers added a run in the fifth to stay ahead 4-1.
The Lakers added two more runs in the top of the seventh inning to hold a 6-1 advantage. The Arrows managed to add one run in the bottom of the seventh, but couldn’t get any closer.
Offensively for the Lakers, Logan Evans had a hit with three RBI and Gavin Lones hit at triple with one RBI.
Gavin Lones earned the win on the mound with six innings of work and six strikeouts.
Indian Lake travels to Ft. Loramie today for a non-league doubleheader.

Roughriders blank Cardinals
West Jefferson’s baseball team dropped host Triad 3-0 on Friday during Ohio Heritage Conference action.
The Cardinals fall to 9-5 overall and 6-3 in the OHC as the Roughriders move to 7-6, 5-4.
It was a pitcher’s duel as West Jefferson recorded just three hits and Triad had four hits.
The Roughriders scored all three of their runs in the seventh inning.
Canyon Schneider picked up the win on the mound for West Jefferson.
Triad travels to Marysville today for a non-league doubleheader.
