State investigators provided local prosecutors with information they used to obtain a multi-count fraud indictment of an Arizona man.
A Logan County grand jury handed up an indictment Tuesday charging Christopher O. Hodge, 35, of Phoenix, with false representations for the purpose of selling securities and engaging in fraudulent activity in selling securities, second-degree felonies; telecommunications fraud, a third-degree felony; and grand theft, a fourth-degree felony.
Investigators with the Ohio Department of Commerce’s Division of Securities allege the defendant convinced a Logan County resident in November 2011 to invest $40,000 in a fake company known as Intellicore Solutions.
