Second-graders who read at least seven books this school year from the list, which included titles such as Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White, Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder and Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown, qualified to compete at the day-long Reading Olympics, which included prizes and new books to take home.
