Amanda Chivington, 22, of Pittsburgh, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was preceded in death by grandfather, Delmer Chivington; close relative, Gail Cronin; and several other great-grandparents.
She is survived by grandparents, Jan Chivington and Bob (Mary) Kohnen; great-grandmother, Edna Kohnen; parents, Steven R. and Mary C. Chivington; brother, Billy Chivington; many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was a graduate of Seneca Valley High School, where she was in the ROTC program and was involved in the chorus. Amanda then went on to receive her associate’s degree in photography at Butler County Community College and had plans to receive her bachelor’s degree in special education in her future.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Jerry Spears Funeral Home, 2693 W. Broad St., Columbus, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. A funeral Mass is at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at St. Ceclia Catholic Church, 434 Norton Road, Columbus, with Father Leo Connolly celebrant. Interment is in Huntsville Cemetery. A memorial service in Pennsylvania is at a later date.
