Local issues received overwhelming support at the polls Tuesday, including the countywide road and bridge sales tax, utilities aggregation, two liquor options and two each village and township issues.
Logan County’s 1/2-percent sales tax for roads, bridges, storm water and economic development passed 13,582 to 8,035, according to Tuesday’s unofficial totals.
This continues 20 years of voter approval of the tax. It will run for another five years generating revenue for the county, municipalities, townships and economic development.
