Two women were arrested on warrants and drug charges Wednesday.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Kimberly L. Carnes, 38, of 113 N. St. Paris St., based on a June 17 incident. They found her at home around 2:50 p.m.
Ms. Carnes was charged with possession of drug abuse instruments and illegal use of drug paraphernalia and was served warrants for permitting drug abuse and a parole violation.
Stormi D. Kiser, 31, at large, was charged with possession of drug abuse instruments and served warrants for failure to appear and parole violations.
Ms. Kiser was found in the basement and admitted to having two hypodermic needles in her bra.
A search of the residence located 43 used hypodermic needles, six spoons used for heroin abuse and a pipe for smoking crack cocaine.
Both women were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
• Henry L. Hatfield, 58, of 1154 S. Main St., was served Wednesday with a warrant for failure to appear.
