Utility customers in West Mansfield will see an additional $1 per month increase in their utility bills, bringing the total minimum bill to $106 a month beginning in April, according to information discussed at this week’s village council meeting.
Minimum water usage increased 50 cents to $21 and sewer usage will also be increased by 50 cents to $13, Administrator and Fiscal Officer David Evans reports. The minimum bill includes $28 of water debt charge and $44 of sewer debt charge.
Water use beyond the minimum is now 6 cents per cubic foot — approximately 7.5 gallons — and 3.714 cents per cubic foot for sewer usage.
Andy Huffman was recommended by Mayor Kim Kerns to serve as the village zoning officer and council approved Mr. Huffman’s appointment.
