Wednesday evening, students from the Class of 2025 walked the halls and filled the auditorium for the first time as Benjamin Logan High School students alongside their parents.High School Principal, Dr. Brian Powderly greeted the families and shared words of wisdom with the incoming students. Jeff Amspoker, the Assistant High School Principal, presented information regarding attendance, tardiness, student code of conduct, electronic devices, and bus and lunch procedures. Nic George, Director of Information Technology Services, and Jamie Whited, Computer Technician Specialist, were on hand to help parents and students electronically sign off on the FinalForms Take-Home Chromebook Handbook so that students could be issued a Chromebook on the spot. School Counselor Matt Smith provided support regarding scheduling and assisted in locating classrooms as students spent time walking through their schedules to feel comfortable finding classes on the first day.
