Nease, a junior forward, bettered his career-high 21 points he had Saturday at Marysville with a 22-point effort Tuesday at Graham to lead the BHS boys basketball team to a 52-28 romp in a Central Buckeye Conference crossover game.
The Chiefs are now 7-10 on the season, while the Falcons drop to 5-13.
Nease has hit the 20-point mark in three of Bellefontaine’s last six games. He also is leading the team in rebounding with nearly nine per game.
“Hayden is a tremendous competitor and he plays with a lot of confidence,” said Bellefontaine head coach Henry Stolly. “He has become a good leader for our team. The confidence he is playing with is starting to become contagious for the rest of the team.”
