David Kendall Trostel, 28, of Quincy, passed away at 1:57 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, at Mary Rutan Hospital.
He was born in Sidney on Oct. 24, 1987, to Kenneth Franklin Trostel and Carol Hines, who survive, along with his stepfather, Lowell Hines; a brother, Justin (Amanda) Trostel; a niece, Addison; three nephews, Aarron, Cayden and Nate; two aunts, Cindy Kendall and Deb Roby; a stepbrother, Todd; and stepsisters, Ashley and Alice.
He was preceded in death by a stepsister, Phoebe.
David was a graduate of Ohio Hi-Point Career Center and had worked at Midwest Express, East Liberty and the Village Pantry gas station in DeGraff. His quick wit and smile allowed David to live his life without ever knowing a stranger. David will be sadly missed by his four-legged son, Peanut.
Visitation is two hours prior to a funeral at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes St., DeGraff.
