Benjamin Logan’s boys basketball team struggled to contain visiting Kenton Ridge on Tuesday as the Cougars ran away with a 74-48 win in in Central Buckeye Conference action.
The Raiders fall to 4-12 as the Cougars move to 10-4 on the season.
Kenton Ridge held a 20-14 lead to end the first quarter and pulled away in the second quarter with a 19-7 run. That gave the Cougars a 39-21 advantage entering halftime.
The Cougars extended their lead to 30 points (60-30) after three periods. Ben Logan edged Kenton Ridge 18-14 in the final period.
Keaghan Stahler and Ethan Rickets both tallied 12 points to pace the Raiders, while Landon Hunt and Trey Allen each added eight points.
In junior varsity action, Kenton Ridge ran past Ben Logan 54-35. Blaine Worden led the Raiders with nine points.
The freshman game saw Ben Logan edge Kenton Ridge 56-52. Tyler Knight sparked the Raiders with 16 points and Tyler Anspach had 12 points.
Ben Logan hosts Graham on Friday in CBC Mad River division play.
