Benjamin Logan’s girls and boys bowling teams both picked up wins over Indian Lake on Tuesday in local Central Buckeye Conference action at T-P Lanes.
The Lady Raiders recorded their second-highest match series to defeat the Lakers 2,387-1,978. Ashley Gantt led Ben Logan with a game of 201 and a 362 series, Addie Buckenroth had a game of 195 and a 353 series and Kaylee Nicholas added a game of 201.
In junior varsity girls action, Ben Logan held off Indian Lake 1,621-1,513. Autumn Dyer led the Raiders with a game of 166, Kaylee Shafer rolled a game of 152 and Avery Green had a game of 145.
Ben Logan’s boys bowling team beat Indian Lake 2,123-2,055. Timmy Porter paced the Raiders with games of 201 and 190 for a 391 series and Brady Stover rolled games of 167 and 201 for a 368 series.
Ben Logan hosts Urbana today in CBC action at T-P Lanes, while Indian Lake bowls again Monday at Urbana.
Riverside girls zap Kenton
Riverside’s girls bowling team beat host Kenton 1,947-1,851 on Tuesday in a non-league match.
Ashley Russell led the Pirates with a game of 152 and a 298 series and Rayce Yelton had a game of 149.
Riverside’s boys team fell to Kenton 2,386-2,323. Drew Jones led the Pirates with a game of 231 and a 364 series and Dylan Smith added a game of 222.
Chiefs sweep Arrows
The Bellefontaine boys varsity bowling team beat Tecumseh 2,540-2,153 on Tuesday.
Beau Salyer led the Chiefs with games of 212 and 203 for a 415 series. Isaiah Henry had games of 198 and 206 for a 404 series, Ryan Carman posted a 191 game, Landon Gibbs rolled a 186 game and Ian Salyer added a 181 game.
The Chiefs’ junior varsity boys team won 1,932-1,438. Drake Argabright led the Chiefs with a 212 game and Spencer Lane added a 170 game.
Bellefontaine’s varsity girls team won 2,242-1,980 over the Arrows.
Abby Bailey fired games of 220 and 188 for a 408 series to lead the Chiefs. Kayla Watkins had a 203 game and 345 series, Lindsey Heminger rolled a 168 game, Brynn Noffsinger had a 158 game and Ashley Ehmer added a 154 game.
In the junior varsity girls match, Bellefontaine won 1,900-1,401. Candice Miihlbach led BHS with games of 155 and 157 for a 312 series. Leyla Johnson had a 157 game and Kiana Oppy added a 150 game.
