The 664th Aircraft Control & Warning Squadron invites all radar veterans across the U.S. to its upcoming reunion, slated for the weekend of June 24 through 26, at the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, the site of the former base.
Organizers note this reunion is expected to be the largest to date, with approximately 140 individuals registered as of June 1.
Registration begins at 3 p.m. Friday, June 24, at the school cafeteria, the 664th Café. A catered buffet dinner follows at 5:30 p.m., along with a special meeting at 7 p.m.
Saturday’s activities include a morning flag raising with Naval Sea Cadets, continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m., morning and afternoon presentations, and a picnic lunch at noon.
Saturday evening, several activities will be open to the public, including a 6 p.m. Les Fons performance in the auditorium, and music and dancing at 7 p.m. in the 664th Café.
The weekend concludes Sunday, June 26, with an all-you-can-eat breakfast at 8:15 a.m. at the American Legion Post 173, 120 Colton Ave.
