Bellefontaine’s baseball team took an early lead, Benjamin Logan stormed back with a huge fifth inning Thursday to rally for a 5-2 win in Central Buckeye Conference action at Blue Jacket Park.

The Raiders improve their record to 11-7 overall and 7-5 in the Mad River division standings. The loss drops the Chieftains to 16-5 overall and 9-4 in the Kenton Trail standings.
Bellefontaine scored twice in the first inning for a 2-0 advantage.
The score stayed that way until the top of the fifth inning, when Ben Logan put some key hits together and took advantage of Bellefontaine miscues to put five runs on the scoreboard. That vaulted the Raiders in front 5-2.
The Chiefs were unable to answer as the Raiders held on the rest of the way for the win.
Cole Waugh pitched a complete game for Ben Logan. He allowed five hits and had two strikeouts.
Offensively for the Raiders, Konner Caudill went 3-3, Josh Whitten went 2-2 with an RBI, Mitchell Fink had two RBI and Garrett Dixon added an RBI.
