Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report four teenage passengers were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on County Road 153 near the Union County line.
The teens, ranging in age from 14 to 17, were passengers in a vehicle operated by Ruth J. Seaman, 44, of East Liberty. They were first transported by squads to Memorial Hospital of Union County in Marysville, and then were transferred to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus. None was listed in critical condition, deputies said.
Deputies are still investigating the crash that occurred about 4:30 p.m. in front of 12979 C.R. 153 and a narrative report was not available at press time. However, they have cited the second driver, Jeffrey J. Webb, 24, of Urbana, for failure to yield the right of way.
Both Mr. Webb and Ms. Seaman were treated at the scene by paramedics, but were not transported.
Marysville, Allen Township, Perry Township, Raymond and North Lewisburg EMS all responded to the scene. Deputies from the Union County Sheriff’s Office also assisted with traffic control.
