Three people were transported by area squads to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of state routes 235 and 47.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report Ethan Williams, 19, of DeGraff, was operating a westbound car about 2:40 p.m. on S.R. 47 when he stopped at the stop sign and then proceeded into the intersection, striking a northbound car operated by Madeline J. Brown, 75, of DeGraff.
Williams and his passenger, Ciara Feasel, 18, of DeGraff, were transported by Bellefontaine and Robinaugh squads to the hospital. Brown was transported by Riverside EMS to the hospital.
All of the occupants were wearing their seat belts. Damage was heavy to both vehicles, which were towed from the scene. Williams was cited for failure to yield.
