The Third District Court of Appeals affirmed three decisions this week arising out of cases decided in the Logan County Common Pleas Court.
• In State v. Savannah Stanley, the defendant was sentenced to 11 months in prison for two counts of trafficking in drugs.
After pleading guilty, she filed a motion to withdraw her plea prior to sentencing. The court denied her motion and proceeded to sentence her. On appeal, the Third District Court found no evidence to support her claim and further found that the trial court did not abuse its discretion in denying the motion to withdraw her guilty plea.
