Zenon Alinson, better known as “Ren,” passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2020, at the age of 60. Ren was in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his loved ones. He will be missed by many. Weekends at the Eagle’s Campground won’t be the same without his laugh, dance moves and delicious food.
Ren was born in Cebu City, Philippines, to the late Cenon and Basilisa (Yburan) Alinson. Along with his parents, a brother-in-law, Herschel Smith also preceded him in death.
Ren is survived by his wife, Julie (Roby) Alinson, whom he married July 21, 1990 in Rushsylvania; his children, Matthew Alinson, Heather (John Paul) Belluscio, and Lance Alinson; his beloved grandchildren, Hayden, Jaydyn, Raiden, Cianna, and Cameron; sisters, Josefina Smith, and Ruthelia (Sergio) Eamiguel; brothers, Vicente (Luz) Alinson and Feliciano “Boy” (Feliciana) Alinson; father-in-law, Willis Roby Jr.; brothers-in-law, Brett (Lexi) Roby and Scott (Nikki) Roby; as well as many nieces and nephews around the world. Finally, an amazing group of friends, Lisa and Tracy Taylor, Dee and Gary Dolan, and Mike and Kim Titus.
A gathering of family and friends will take place Thursday, March 5, 2020, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. A Celebration of Life Service begins at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, March 5th, at the funeral home.
