It was busy Memorial Day weekend for the Zanesfield Petanque Club as it host five events.
The field included players from across Ohio as well as from Texas, Wisconsin, Michigan, Connecticut, North Carolina and South Carolina.
In the Weyapiersen Doubles Panache event Friday, first place went to Mohamed Boulahoual of the Zanesfield club and Bo Edwards of Carolina Petanque.
Taking second were Angie Gleason of the Maine Boules Club and Gregorio Martinez of Newark Petanque Club.
In the Simon Kenton Pointing Contest, the winner was Bob Robertson of Carolina Petanque.
The next event was the Tarhe Select Doubles on Saturday. For the main event, the winners were Shannon Hodge of Zanesfield and Shirley Jones of Carolina Petanque.
