Officers and Bellefontaine Fire and EMS responded about 11:43 p.m. Tuesday to Red Bud Hill Apartments, 868 E. Sandusky Ave., Apt. 116, regarding a woman who apparently overdosed.
The woman was found in a bedroom at the apartment and was revived with Narcan. A small baggie of heroin/fentanyl was located near her, officers said. She was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital.
The woman was issued a substance abuse case form for referral to treatment in the next 30 days, or face prosecution for felony drug abuse/possession.
