Joslyn Emberling, 29, of Belle Center, was transported by private vehicle to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of possible injuries following a crash Monday.
Officers report she was operating a northbound sport utility vehicle that was stopped in traffic on south Main Street at Court Avenue about 12:50 p.m. A northbound car operated by Clayton M. Sopher, 18, of Bellefontaine, struck the rear of her SUV, causing light damage to both vehicles.
Sopher, who did not report any injuries, was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead. The drivers were wearing their seat belts.
