Kristen R. Kaylor, 39, of Waynesfield, was charged with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia the evening of Tuesday, Feb. 27.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded about 7:25 p.m. to the Frontier Cottages, 10991 State Route 366, Lakeview, in reference to items being stolen from a residence and a camper being ransacked.
Deputies met with the victim and a witness, who reported that Kaylor had some items in her room that belonged to the victim.
Missing items that were found in a cottage where Kaylor had been staying included tea cups, dishes, a stand-up heater, and a three-drawer shelving container.
Kaylor was located on the property. She told deputies she believed her ex-boyfriend had placed the stolen items in her room to “get back at her.”
Deputies attempted to place the defendant under arrest, but she began to pull away from them. An officer of the Washington Township Police Department assisted in regaining control of Kaylor and placing her in handcuffs
Deputies located a suspected methamphetamine pipe on her person. She was transported to the Logan County Jail.
