Misty C. Largin, 20, of 500 Gunntown Road, Apt. D2, was arrested Monday for persistent disorderly conduct after she ignored a dozen warnings from officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department to calm down and stop yelling at a roommate moving out of the apartment.
Officers were at the residence around 2:55 p.m. after Sundae Stegal requested their presence while she retrieved her belongings from the apartment.
Stegal also was disruptive and yelling but finally complied with officers’ orders to calm down and retrieved her belongings before leaving.
Largin was not compliant until she was handcuffed and placed in a cruiser.
She was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Ex-boyfriend faces domestic charge
Trestin D. Hoffer, 22, of 824 Euclid St., was charged Monday with domestic violence.
Catana Thomas, 528 W. Patterson Ave., told officers the suspect was her ex-boyfriend and the father of her child. She told officers he often spends the night at the Thomas’ residence.
Around 1 a.m. Friday, he began to argue with the victim and began to grab her arms, push her and punch her. He was ordered out of the house by Thomas’ mother and he left.
Officers took photographs of small bruises on the inner portion of the victim’s right arm. She later provided photographs of scratches on her chest and of the inner arm bruises taken shortly after the altercation.
Hoffer was found at his residence and admitted to consuming alcohol before the argument. He acknowledged trying to take her phone from her and pushing her down on a bed. He denied striking her.
Hoffer was issued a summons and warned to leave the victim alone.
