Tammy L. Richey, 46, of 409 Walker St., was charged Saturday with domestic violence.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department were called to the residence around 2 p.m. and Destiny Hartline reports Ms. Richey assaulted her as she was preparing to leave with her son.
The first officer on the scene observed the suspect dragging the victim by her hair. He also witnessed her punch and kick the victim.
She was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
• Calyssa M. Lackey, 24, of 314 S. Miami St., Quincy, was served Saturday with a warrant for failure to appear.
Motorist faces OVI
Tim V. Hall, 64, of 113 S. Hayes St., Apt. 1, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs after a Sunday traffic stop.
An officer was in the area finishing up another traffic stop around 1:15 a.m. and observed the suspect stagger from his car and vomit on himself after pulling into the drive of his residence.
The officer observed other signs the driver was impaired and took him into custody for a breath test. Those results were 0.092.
He was released to his wife.
