A Bellefontaine woman who allegedly shot at her husband in a jealous rage July 31 was among 21 people charged this week in Logan County grand jury indictments.
Carrie M. Blosser, 32, currently lodged in the Logan County Jail, is charged with attempted murder, a felony of the first degree; felonious assault, a felony of the second degree; and discharge of firearm on or near prohibited premises, a felony of the third degree.
According to officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department, Blosser accused Anthony Ramos of cheating on her after he arrived home from work. at the 1000 Garfield Ave., Lot , resident
Ramos told officers he agreed to go for “a drive” to talk it over. Blosser drove recklessly to the his workplace Tumbleweed, 2241 S. Main St. business, got out of the vehicle and began yelling at people inside the business around 11:35 p.m.
Ramos spotted that she had a handgun out and got in the driver’s seat to drive off. As he was fleeing, Blosser fired two shots at the vehicle.
Blosser then ran from the area. Officers employed several search methods but they were unable to locate the suspect.
Meanwhile, Ramos was escorted to the residence to retrieve clothing and items for himself and two children in the home.
Officers efforts to locate the suspect soon paid off and she was located in the residence. She was taken into custody without incident.

• Reba N. Jenkins, 28, of Bellefontaine: misdemeanor disorderly conduct; misdemeanor resistingarrest; and assault, a felony of the fifth degree;

• Colan E. Spires, 25, of Bellefontaine: illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of a specified governmental facility, a felony of the third degree;
• Jason D. Hutson, 31, of Russells Point: theft, a felony of the fifth degree; misdemeanor petty theft; burglary, a felony of the third degree; and misdemeanor violating a protection order, a misdemeanor of the first degree; and
• Walter Brightwell, 26, of Ft. Worth, Ind.: resisting arrest, a felony of the fourth degree; and misdemeanor aggravated menacing.
