A West Liberty woman was arrested Friday for violating a civil protection order after creating a disturbance at Thoman’s IGA the night before, deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report.
Heather Stidham, 36, of 116 Fuson St., was taken into custody at about 6:30 p.m. Friday in connection with the incident.
Her ex-husband Andy Stidham reported he was with their children and his girlfriend at about 6:20 p.m. Thursday when Ms. Stidham saw them outside the 201 S. Detroit St. grocery store. She reportedly waved as she left the parking lot but returned a short time later, parked near her ex-husband’s vehicle and entered the store where she confronted the girlfriend.
She was lodged in the Logan County Jail because she has other pending CPO violation cases, deputies report.
