Morgan Freyhof has never had trouble making an impact. Whether it is on the soccer field or the track, the West Liberty-Salem standout has been a difference maker in all her athletic endeavors.
It is fitting that given her success and talent, that the senior is continuing her athletic career in not one, but two sports, as she is headed to Ohio Wesleyan University to play soccer and compete in track and field for the NCAA Division III program.
“I didn’t always know if I would compete at the college level, but I wanted to,” said Freyhof. “The more success I had with sports the more I felt it was realistic.”
Being a multi-sport standout, Freyhof was faced with the choice of which sport to continue in college. Instead, she chose to do both simply because she enjoys them so much.
“I chose to do two sports because I didn’t feel I could give up one of them,” said Freyhof. “I figured I might as well do both. People always tell you how busy you’ll be with sports in college, but I think I can handle it. I thrive when I’m busy.
