West Liberty-Salem’s Acme baseball team got on the scoreboard early and held off Benjamin Logan 5-2 on Wednesday to win the North sectional championship at Blue Jacket Park.

The Tigers advance to the district tournament, which begins is Saturday at Blue Jacket Park. WL-Salem won the district title last season.
Ben Logan also moves on to the district tournament as the top two teams in each of the North and South sectionals qualify. Greeneview and Xenia meet tonight for the South sectional title.
WL-Salem built a 2-1 advantage after the first inning Wednesday.
