West Liberty-Salem’s volleyball team rallied for a four-set win over Mechanicsburg on Wednesday at Riverside High School.
The Tigers lost the first set 16-25, but came back to win 25-21, 25-19, 25-14 to claim the Ohio Heritage Conference victory.
In order to help create more of a home crowd experience for the Tigers, who have not been able to play in their gym this season because of construction, a spirit bus for the trip to Riverside was organized to boost the attendance.
“I would like to thank our administration and our athletic director Jake Vitt for organizing the spirit bus,” said WL-Salem head coach Annie Kauffman. “We appreciate everyone who came out and cheered us on.”
