West Liberty-Salem’s boys soccer team set a record for most wins in a season Saturday after shutting out visiting Springfield Shawnee 5-0 in a non-league contest.
The Tigers run their record to 13-2 overall.
Neil Markin fueled WL-Salem’s offense with two goals, while Raiph LeVan, Ethan Cole and Jacob VanHorn each had one goal. Cole added two assists and Lance Baldwin had one assist.
Defensively, Elias Kirker-Napiorkowski had three saves and Logan Campbell had one save.
