West Liberty-Salem’s boys and girls track and field teams dominated a six-team Ohio Heritage Conference meet Monday at Northeastern High School.
The Tiger girls crushed the competition by racking up 202 points. They won 15 of 17 events. Fairbanks was a distant second with 93 points, West Jefferson was third with 71 points, Northeastern took fourth with 65 points, Triad was fifth with 61 points and Mechanicsburg was sixth with 24 points.
The boys meet saw WL-Salem hold off Fairbanks 126-111 to claim the top spot. Northeastern finished in third with 96 points.
