West Liberty-Salem’s boys and girls state-ranked cross country teams both claimed Ohio Heritage Conference titles Saturday at Cedarville University.
The Tiger girls, ranked third in Division III, won their sixth consecutive league title with 27 points and have claimed 12 of the last 13 OHC races. Fairbanks was runner-up with 55 points and Cedarville was third with 70 points.
WL-Salem’s boys, ranked sixth in Division II, have now secured 10 of the last 11 OHC races and won Saturday with 30 points. Greenon finished second with 43 points, Cedarville was third with 75 points and Triad took fourth with 135 points.
The Tigers’ Dylan Lauck highlighted the day by winning the boys race with a time of 16:09.2. Grace Adams led the Lady Tigers with a third-place finish in a time of 19:37.1.
