Tigers to play in Celina on Saturday
West Liberty-Salem’s Acme baseball team is state bound after dropping host London 14-8 on Tuesday in the district championship game.
The Tigers move on to the Acme state tournament at Montgomery Field in Celina on Saturday. They play host Celina at 7:30 p.m.
WL-Salem lost to London 9-4 in a first-round district game Saturday. The Tigers rallied to win four consecutive games and had to defeat top-seeded London twice Monday and Tuesday to reach the state tournament.
