Two people were arrested today after they entered a vacant residence around 2 a.m. Polly A. McClain, 32, of 404 W. Sandusky Ave., was charged with criminal trespass and obstructing official business, while Dustin R. Harber, 34, of Kenton, was charged with criminal trespass and a probation violation.
Witnesses spotted the two enter 225 W. Sandusky Ave. and called officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department.
They arrived in the area and located the two at 223 W. Sandusky Ave.
McClain came out of the residence and claimed Harber was not inside the residence. Officers searched the residence and found him hiding in a vacated portion of the rooming house.
Both were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
• Adair L. Robinson, 31, of 1000 Garfield Ave., Lot 11, was arrested Thursday for obstructing official business.
Officers observed the defendant at the Pink House, 600 Jay Ave., around 9:40 p.m. in violation of a court order curfew 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from a pending case.
He took off running northbound as officers approached him outside the bar. He turned west and could be seen using his cellular phone as flashlight.
Officers ordered him to exit several times as a perimeter was established around the wooded area. The suspect exited the woods onto Cook Avenue and was taken into custody.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
