Giving once to the Logan County Children’s Services Outreach Centers wasn’t enough for Jodi Hatfield.

As the winner of the program’s 90-second shopping spree at Community Markets, 878 E. Sandusky Ave., the Lakeview area resident decided to shop for the centers rather than herself.
“I wanted to give it to the centers,” she said, “because it’s a nice place for the kids to go after school to play and work on homework.
“It’s wonderful what they’re doing there.”
She focused her time on items the centers could use such as paper plates, napkins, baking goods and candy for treats.
Ms. Hatfield bagged $65.81 in goods during her spree.
Drew Shick, who oversees the Chippewa and Russells Point centers, said children from all three centers (Western Outreach is in Bellefontaine) sold $1,010 in tickets which will be used by the centers.
