William C. “Bill” Ferguson, 81, of Troy, passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2016, at Troy Care Center.
He was born Sept. 26, 1935, in Ridgeway, a son of Gail and Grace Wilson Ferguson.
Bill is survived by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Jodi (Craig) Block and Candice (Chris) Hillman, both of Troy; son and daughter-in-law, William C. (Stacey) Ferguson II of Beavercreek; seven grandchildren, Jamie (Casey) Cooper, Laura Kiser, Gabe (Denise) Wise, Logan (Megan) Wise, Trevor Dunn, Liam Ferguson and Gabriella Ferguson; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lloyd (Nora) Ferguson and John (Lonnie) Ferguson, both of Rushsylvania; and sister and brother-in-law, Janet (Fred) Allen of Bellefontaine.
Bill was married to Carol Ann Yarbrough, and she proceeded him in death Sept. 25, 2009. He also was proceeded in death by his parents; grandson, Larry Kiser Jr.; sister, Judy Foster; and daughter-in-law, Christie Dunn.
Bill worked first for H.G. Short Ford Dealer, Stag Restaurant and Palm Grill. He was a retired auto salesman for Troy Ford and Frank Z. of Dayton.
A funeral service was conducted Monday, Feb. 13, at the Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home of Troy.
