A two-hour delay Monday for the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center exhausted its number of “calamity hours,” the district reported today.
Students were notified to complete the second “blizzard bag” assignments given to them by their teachers.
“If there are any additional delays or closings this week, we will have school President’s Day (Feb. 18) to make up the hours,” according to a notification sent out by Ohio Hi-Point.
Making up President’s Day is also in the works for Indian Lake Schools in the event of another weather-related cancellation this week. Indian Lake has missed five days of school, and will be in session on the federal holiday, Feb. 18, should there be a school closure this week.
Blizzard bag days with premade lessons and homework options will be utilized for any additional closures after President’s Day, Indian Lake staff reported.
