Desarae Robison, 31, of Richmond Ind., was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs related to a crash Saturday evening.
Officers of the Washington Township Police Department were dispatched about 10:30 p.m. to a report of an injury accident at State Route 274 and Township Road 61.
Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle down in a flooded ditch south of State Route 274.
Officers were approached by a female coming from the vehicle who claimed to be the driver, identified as Robison.
While speaking with Robison, officers could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her person, and her eyes were bloodshot and glassy.
Officers then asked Robison if she had consumed any alcoholic beverages and she stated she had consumed two alcoholic drinks.
Robison participated in and failed field sobriety tests.
She was placed under arrest and transported to the Logan County Jail and also was cited for OVI refusal and failure to control.
