Ethan J. Elbert, 17, address unavailable, was transported by Bellefontaine EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries sustained in a crash Friday afternoon.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report he was operating a southbound 1995 Volvo 850 on Township Road 216 just south of County Road 11 about 3:50 p.m. when he went off the right side of the road and struck a township sign and utility pole.
The vehicle went airborne and landed on the its tires in the middle of T.R. 216.
Damage was heavy to the car, which was towed from the scene. The driver was wearing his seat belt and he was cited for failure to control.
• Bradley J. Baxter, 40, of Willshire, was cited for failure to control related to a non-injury crash on U.S. Route 33 Friday evening.
Deputies report he was operating an eastbound 2017 Dodge Ram pickup pulling a trailer near State Route 287 about 6:20 p.m. when he lost control and drove off the right side of the road.
The pickup and trailer jack-knived and struck a fence. Damage was moderate to the pickup, which was towed from the scene.
• Christal E. Miller, 48, of DeGraff, was cited for failure to control related to a non-injury crash Thursday afternoon on County Road 153.

eputies report she was operating a southbound 2011 Kia Forte about 4:15 p.m. near County Road 28 when Miller said she became distracted by an object inside her vehicle.
She then failed to negotiate a curve and struck a guardrail on the west side of the road.
Damage was heavy to the car, which was towed from the scene.
Domestic violence charges issued
Alexis D. Carnes, 22, of 560 S. County Road 23, Quincy, was charged with domestic violence related to an incident early Saturday morning at her residence.
Her boyfriend, Skylar K. McKinnon, 26, of DeGraff, also was issued a summons for domestic violence.
Deputies were dispatched to the C.R. 23 address just after midnight on a report of a domestic dispute.
McKinnon met deputies in the driveway, and told them that his girlfriend had punched him in the face during an argument that evening.
McKinnon led deputies into the residence so they could speak with Carnes. Deputies said they located her hiding under a bed.
Carnes told deputies that the couple had been in an argument after leaving a bar that evening. She said on their way home, McKinnon slammed on the brakes of his vehicle, forcibly removed her from the vehicle and then a struggle ensued between them in the ditch.
No injuries were reported during the investigation, deputies said. Carnes was transported to the Logan County Jail.
