Warren “Bruce” Pitcock, 64 of Lakeview, passed away Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his family.
Bruce was born June 16, 1953, in Bellefontaine to the late Iva Lou Downing Pitcock.
He married Marylynn DeVoe on Feb. 10, 2000. Bruce and Marylynn were happily married for 17 years and were together a total of 27 years.
Bruce enjoyed hunting arrowheads, berry picking, riding his Harley, canoeing down Mad River, and the great outdoors as a whole. Above all, he loved spending time with his wife, grandkids, family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and a friend to all. Bruce never knew a stranger, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Crystal Kindle, Elizabeth (Matt) Losey and Ayla (Jeremy Crabtree) Ramos; sons, Adam Pitcock and Uriah (Jessica) Goings; 16 grandchildren, Dustin, Dylan, Christopher, Christian, Christin, Maggie, Kaitlynn, Lilli, Brody, Ally, Hayli, Talen, Bryson, Michael, Tristin and Jazzlynn; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue (Floyd) Stotler and Pam (Kerry) Harvey; brothers, Doug (Nancy) Pitcock, Glen (Brenda) Pitcock, Tony Pitcock and Barry (Alisha) Mullins; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother; brother, Jerry Mullins; grandparents, James and Eunice Weatherby Downing; and a dear family friend, “Corky.”
A funeral service begins at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at Jennings Farley Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation is from noon until time of service.
