A suspect under indictment by a Logan County grand jury was arrested at his place of employment just before 11 a.m. Wednesday on warrants for alleged drug possession for failure to appear.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department transported Lewis D. Boggs, 37, of 3229 E. State Route 47, to the Logan County Jail after serving him with a total of four warrants for failure to appear in Bellefontaine Municipal Court, and for possession of heroin, cocaine and marijuana.
Officers responded to Robinson Investment Warehouse, 901 Henry St., on an unrelated report of suspected theft and identified the suspect at that location, according to reports.
Officers permitted the defendant to smoke a cigarette before taking him to jail without incident.
• Wade M. Miller, 27, of 204 E. Brown Ave., was lodged in Logan County Jail after he was served two outstanding warrants for assault.
Police were dispatched to the Logan County Jail about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and were met by an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper who had picked up the defendant during a separate traffic stop.
