Wanda Jean Rollins, 76, of East Liberty, passed away Friday morning, June 30, 2017, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Wanda was born in Mt. Sterling on Sept. 5, 1940, to the late Fred and Leatha Dials Lemaster. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, John Alfred Rollins; son, Rodney D. Rollins; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister, Evelyn Passwaters.
Wanda worked at Marysville Memorial Hospital for 25-plus years and retired as the dietary supervisor. She loved gardening, flowers and line dancing. Wanda proudly supported veterans’ causes, women’s cancer groups and St. Jude’s Hospital. She was a member of Bellefontaine First Church of God.
Wanda is survived by her sons, Rick (Tami) Rollins of East Liberty, Russell Rollins of Zanesfield and Roger (Melissa) Rollins of Huntsville; a daughter-in-law, Vicki Rollins of Urbana; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Linda (Jim) Helriggle of Russells Point; and several nieces and nephews.
Pastor Gary Brown officiates the funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, July 7, at Bellefontaine First Church of God, 1000 E. Brown Ave., where calling is one hour prior to the service. Burial is in Middleburg Cemetery.
