Victoria Anne “Tori” Miller Bowers, 27, of Bellefontaine, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016, in her sleep from a rare heart condition.
She was born May 9, 1989, in Wooster to Errol and Kathlene Suter Miller of Jeromesville, who survive, as does her husband, Myles Bowers, whom she married July 28, 2012.
In addition to her husband and parents, she will be dearly missed by a sister, Kalina (Isaiah) Schloneger of San Francisco; her father- and mother-in-law, Darrel and Carol Bowers of Delphos; sisters-in-law, Melissa (Jeremy) Pruett, and Shauna Bowers, both of Delphos; nephews, Austin and Logan Pruett of Delphos; and aunts and uncles, Linda and Bob Suter, Mary Ann and Bill Suter and Jolene and Denny Oxender, all of Bluffton and Cathy and Frank Smith of Grand Junction, Colo.; and a grandmother, Mary Miller of Sugarcreek.
She was a 2008 graduate of Hillsdale High School, and received her bachelor of arts degree from Bluffton University in 2012.
She was a manager for Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn in Westerville and a manager at Six Hundred Downtown in Bellefontaine. She also gave French horn lessons.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing and listening to music of all genres, baking, entertaining, beading and crocheting.
Memorial services begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at First Mennonite Church, 101 S. Jackson St., Bluffton, where calling is from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Dr. David Wilcox officiates.
Memorial contributions may be made to Benjamin Logan High School Music Boosters, 6609 E. State Route 47, Bellefontaine OH 43311, to be put toward a memorial music scholarship in Tori’s name.
