Alicia Mills, 16, and Donald Kissling, 18, both of Rushsylvania, were picked up Monday by West Virginia authorities.
Alicia has been charged with delinquency runaway and released to her grandmother who lived near Chole, W.Va.
Mr. Kissling is currently held on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Sometime overnight Saturday into Sunday morning, the duo left the area after the Mr. Kissling borrowed a car from Richard Teidemann of Lakeview, deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report.
Told Mr. Kissling may harm himself, deputies were able to initiate electronic surveillance protocols to track the couple.
It appeared they were en route to Alicia’s grandmother’s residence.
West Virginia authorities were alerted and took the couple into custody around 3:30 p.m.
