Two people were arrested Wednesday after officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department acted on a 10:50 p.m. welfare check at 813 Heritage Court, Apt. 47.
Dispatchers received a call reporting a man was overdosing inside the apartment and needed help.
Once inside, officers found the man drunk, but not in need of medical attention.
They also found two people wanted on warrants who lied about their identities.
Dale R. Evans, 33, of at large, was charged with obstructing official business and four counts of failure to appear.
Shawna D. Powell, 31, of 401 Clark Ave., was charged with obstructing official business and failure to appear.
Both were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
