LOGAN COLE |
There are two gofundme.com accounts raising money for Logan Cole, his father Ryan reports on his Facebook page.
“I would like to let everyone know that the gofundme.com page set up by the Lamb family is a legitimate fundraiser and those funds will be combined with the funds from the other gofundme.com page,” Mr. Cole wrote today. “Please join me in giving their family thanks for their generous response to this situation and willingness to help our family.
“We are so amazed by the generosity of so many. Our $10,000 goal was met in less than 3 days.
“Donations can also be made to Quest Church in West Liberty,” Mr. Cole continues in his posts. “All donations from the two gofundme.com sites as well as donation made at Quest Church will be used for a college fund for Logan, support of the Serna family, and a yet to be determined project at the school related to this situation.”
Logan, 16, was seriously injured Friday when he was shot twice with a 12-gauge shotgun inside West Liberty-Salem High School.
His assailant was taken into custody and faces multiple charges.
Logan is at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus. Doctors have found a pellet in the right side of his heart and are determining the best course of action.
