TODD |
Jurors took about 2 1/2 hours Friday to convict a 36-year-old man of four counts of rape of two boys under the age of 10.
Joseph Todd, 36, who has been in the Logan County Jail since last fall, faces four life terms in prison at sentencing.
The two-day trial before Logan County Common Pleas Court Judge William T. Goslee concluded around 5:30 p.m. after the jury of seven women and five men returned the guilty verdicts.
Assistant Logan County Prosecutor Alice Robinson-Bond said the crimes occurred nine years ago and one of the two victims reported last year to relatives.
One of the relatives contacted the Logan County Sheriff’s Office which investigated the case.
Sentencing has not been set and the defendant was returned to jail.
