Tyanna Seibert fired a no-hitter Monday as West Liberty-Salem’s softball team run-ruled visiting Bethel 10-0 in five innings to begin Division III sectional tournament play.

The fourth-seeded Tigers are now 22-3 on the season and will host sixth-seeded Indian Lake on Wednesday in a sectional semifinal matchup.
WL-Salem scored three runs in the first inning and two runs in the second inning for a 5-0 lead. The Tigers would go on to score two runs in the third inning and three more runs in the sixth inning.
Seibert recorded eight strikeouts in tossing her no-hitter.
