West Liberty-Salem’s softball team dominated at the plate and from the pitching circle as it overwhelmed visiting Cedarville 23-0 in five innings Monday during an Ohio Heritage Conference meeting.

The Tigers improve their record to 7-5 overall and 4-3 in the OHC standings.
WL-Salem jumped out to a 5-0 lead and scored two more runs in the second inning for a 7-0 advantage. The Tigers plated eight runs in the third inning and poured on eight more runs in the fourth inning.
Offensively, every starter for WL-Salem recorded a hit. Kenedie Cox and Kiana Reames both went 3-4 with two doubles and Kelsey Day went 3-4 with one double.
Tyanna Seibert tossed a two-hitter to help keep Cedarville off the bases.
WL-Salem travels to Southeastern today for another OHC contest.
