West Liberty-Salem’s girls track and field team dominated another six-team meet at home on Monday against Calvary Christian, Riverside, Greeneview, Cedarville and Northeastern.

The Tiger girls won 12 of 17 events to pile up 204 points, the Rams were back in second with 116 points, the Jets took third with 92 points, the Indians were fourth with 78 points, while the Pirates and Spartans tied for fifth with 10 points each.
Cedarville won the boys meet comfortably with 143 points, Northeastern edged Greeneview 107-105 for second, WL-Salem came in fourth with 67 points, Calvary Christian was fifth with 61 points and Riverside was sixth with 25 points.
Earning individual wins for the Tiger girls were Jenna Magnuson in the discus (94-3) and shot put (28-2), Morgan Freyhof in the 100 (13.03) and 200 (27.48), Caylee Karg in the 100 hurdles (17.61) and 300 hurdles (48.94), Reghan Bieleski in the 1,600 (5:48.66) and 800 (2:34.90) and Janie Kopus in the 400 (1:03.77).
Winning relays for WL-S included the 3,200 relay of Bieleski, Karg, Leah Cole and Kaylee Harrison (10:26.50), the 800 relay of Taylor Lauck, Karg, Kopus and Freyhof (1:51.70) and the 1,600 relay of Lauck, Bieleski, Freyhof and Kopus (4:18.43).
